The Weaver Piano & Organ Company of York, PA, owned and manufactured the "Lincoln" brand name. Weaver was founded in 1870, and around the turn of the century, they added the Lincoln brand. Lincoln instruments were sold alongside Weaver instruments as a less expensive alternative to the more expensive Weaver brand name while maintaining similar quality.
Weaver created other well-known brands, including Livingston, York, and Davis & Sons, in addition to Lincoln. After the Great Depression, there is no mention of the Lincoln brand name, indicating that Weaver terminated the Lincoln line around 1930.
Lincoln has manufactured a number of world-class top-notch pianos using high-quality raw materials. They also have a sumptuous appearance; their most well-known piano model was an upright model.
